Hi everyone,
There seems to be a bug with presenting Reference Variables in the Service Portal, when you zoom out. Borders of the field disappear depending on what zoom level you are on. My customers have found this issue while testing.
I checked and it appears for my Windows 10 computer:
- Both in my customer's instances and in my personal OOTB instance on Jakarta
- Browers I tried and found it in: Chrome (latest version), Edge(latest version) and Internet Explorer 11.
- Not in Firefox (latest version)
- Also tried macOS 10.12.6 (Found the bug in the latest version of Chrome, not in Firefox)
Try with for example
/sp?id=sc_cat_item_guide&sys_id=6690750f4f7b4200086eeed18110c76 (New Hire)
/sp?id=sc_cat_item&sys_id=29a39e830a0a0b27007d1e200ad52253 (Password Reset)
Some examples of how it looks - on zoom levels less than 100%:
(Zoom : 80%, Browser: Edge):
(Zoom : 75%, Browser: Edge):
(Zoom : 60%, Browser: Edge):
(Zoom : 75%, Browser: Chrome):
(Zoom : 80%, Browser: Chrome):
(Zoom : 67%, Browser: Chrome):
(Zoom : 75%, Browser: IE11):
(Zoom : 60%, Browser: IE11):
I don't have a HI account at the moment so that's why i'm sharing it here.

Hi Miriam,
So, I couldn't get the form to break on IE11, Edge, or Firefox on Win10. However, I tested on Chrome and got it to break at 33% zoom on 1920x1080 on Kingston. I will go ahead and create a PRB for this and see if perhaps there is anything development will be implementing to address this in the future.

Thanks for creating the problem record for me
Still confused as to why it is so unpredictable!
