Platform Analytics - Duplicated Dashboard - Data visualization did not save it to the library

When I saved the changes to the library, the original Data visualization was not changed

These were the steps followed

Dashboard was Duplicated
The new Dashboard - One of the Data Visualization used within the dashboard - was changed
The new visualization - Chart title was changed in the Description and the chart was changed from single score to vertical bar. 
The prompt - pop up - You made changes to a saved element, it asked if I want to save it the dashboard or to the library
I choose - Save changes to the library
I tested in the data visualization in the library, it was not changed

Any suggestions? is it this working for you all? Save changes to the library?

But our users were unhappy because they were expecting the changed to be made to the library.

when SN says - save it to the library - it has to be saved isn't it?

It looks like this functionality is so unreliable

The save it to the library is not working I feel.
