Want to change name field as unique on custom table

Hi Team, 

 

I have created custom table which extends from cmdb_ci_service table. New table has Name field which comes from extended table, but I want to make it unique field. dictionary is readonly unable to make changes. Please suggest,

Create a new table mainly in domain of CMDB /CSDM is not common. Best practices say , use the closest table which can fulfil the requirement.
