Web speech recognition in service portal widgets.

I need to create a mic widget in the service portal, and I am trying to use Webspeech API. But event listeners for voice recognition is not working. New to Servicenow, please guide me

I have created a widget which takes voice input from user, sends the data to external NLP engine, and get back the data. Now I want my widget to speak that query by doing text to speech conversion within servicenow. All done, the speak part is left. Is it doable within service portal?
