Hi All,
1.what are the Matching rule, why do we need matching rules, what is the purpose of it.
2. Can we create Custom Matching rule out of OOB ones? if Yes, Can we apply multiple Custom matching rules at a time on same Table ?

For question 2, there are several OOB matching rules for the same table. Access a list view of 'matching_rule' table records, add the 'Table' field to the list. So create any custom matching rules you like.

I already gone through ServiceNow - they didn't mentioned anything about for this Q: " why do we need this "
I'm expecting some information about what kind of Key role Matching Rule will plays in CSM

To make life easier for Instance Administrators. Prevent users from entering values in fields that don't make sense for the organizations policies.
