What are the most secure ways to give access to third party bot to update records in servicenow

Hi ,

We need to give access to third-party bot into servicenow which will update servicenow records(eg:incident) .Please let me know most reliable and secure ways to achieve this.

if only update, create a Service Account and give sn_write access.
