Guys,
Instances Version: Istanbul
As part of the Implementation, we are moving (It is the First Move ) all the changes implemented from Test to Prod (Clone) and then planning to do Clone from Prod to Dev so that we can make sure all our customer instances are in Sync. So, we would like to make sure a smooth movement of it and looking for a Checklist.
1) What is the checklist for Pre Clone ?
2) Is there any thing need to make sure during Clone ?
3) What is the checklist for Post Clone ?
4) Any version (Istanbul) specific cautions need to be taken care during this entire process ?
5) Also looking for any experiences (related to issues in PROD) from any body after the clone ?
I would appreciate for the help on this at the earliest possible.

Hi Vijay,
I also want to echo the same thing what bernyalvarado has said. Whilst moving changes to prod instance it is always recommended to move via Update Sets. You should always clone Production over Dev, Test, QA, Sandbox instances. If you are looking for any automated process of moving the update sets to Prod instance from Test instance, I would suggest you to use Update Source (Transferring Update Sets - ServiceNow Wiki ).
In terms of Technical Document Guide, you should go through these 2 helpful links:
1. System Clone - ServiceNow Wiki
2. ServiceNow KB: Post-Cloning Checklist (KB0547597)
I hope this helps. Please mark correct/helpful based on impact

Thanks guys for your valuable information
For now, we didn't take any steps pre cloning and clone went successfully !!! and followed the post clone steps.
After the customer UAT in PROD, we wanted to clean the transaction data and turn on the email properties.
I will try to share the complete steps which we have followed as part of this process
