What changes are required in my scoped app to support MID Server for store certification

I am planning to submit our application for re-certification and want to ensure it supports MID Server. Our app, until now, had no support for the MID Server. Please provide the specific technical requirements, application configurations, APIs, scripting changes, and any restrictions or certification requirements that need to be addressed to make the application MID Server-compatible.

Hi @KrithikaV ,

As I understood your query,  a scoped application can use a MID Server, even though the MID Server itself lives in the global scope via the cross‑scope access request to the global resources which scope  app needs (like ECC Queue, MID APIs, events, script includes, etc.).

• Request cross‑scope access to global resources (ECC Queue, MID APIs).

• Get those requests approved via Restricted Caller Access Privileges  (sys_restricted_caller_access).

• Use only allowed operations (Read/Write/Create/Execute) on the target global resources.

• Check any other security, credential or role required.
