Hi,
I have catalog item A with flow name 'a' in DEV and I have same catalog item A with flow 'a' in PROD. Now we have a new requirement, and so I started working on the same catalog item, and I now created a new flow 'b' in DEV. Now when we migrate the catalog item, will it overwrite the flow 'a' and replace the flow to 'b' IN PROD?
Regards

If you created a whole new Flow when you created Flow 'b', then the sys_ids will be different, so it will create a whole new Flow 'b' when you apply the update set in PROD.
If you modified Flow 'a' to make Flow 'b' in Dev, then it will overwrite the Flow 'a' in PROD, because they will have the same sys_ids.
Also, make sure you change the Flow field in the catalog item to point to the new Flow if you want it to run on that catalog item going forward.

Hi @Community Alums ,
if you created a new flow (flow b) and attached it to the catalog item instead of flow a, and that you have ensured to capture all updates in a update set, then this will be copied to PROD. Flow a will though still exist in the background but not be triggered.
