Hello Guys, I am new into development.

Can some one please explain me what is Demand, Story, Enhancement ?

What is the need of Demand, Story, Enhancement ?

What is the flow of Demand, Story, Enhancement.?

When to create it.

Can some one please give help me with any docs or videos so that i can understand these Demand, Story && Enhancement .

Hi,

Here is a brief on the process flow.

Demands are basically your business requirements. Anyone from your business can raise their need as an Idea in the system. Once the idea is approved, it is converted to a demand which further evaluates and expands its scope. A demand is evaluated further with assessments from its stakeholders to determine its business value based on several factors. It can classified as either operational or strategic.

Enhancements are created from strategic demands and they track its execution. If you are following the agile methodology then you could raise multiple stories from your enhancement and track it within your sprint/release cycle. Once the stories are completed, the enhancement is closed and then its related demand.

If both Demands and Enhancements can both be used to create STRYs, why would you do one over the other?

A story is a brief statement of a product requirement or a business case. A story should be small enough to be completed in one sprint. Story description, acceptance criteria, and sizing, are generally handled by product owners and the dev teams involved

Demand Management is an application that centralizes strategic requests from the business to IT and automates the steps in the investment decision process. This works for new products and services or enhancement and defect repairs to existing products and services

Enhancements are created from strategic demands and they track its execution. If you are following the agile methodology then you could raise multiple stories from your enhancement and track it within your sprint/release cycle An enhancement is a feature, functionality, or anything else that was not defined as part of original requirements
