What is hidden when you check the the "Hidden" box on the UI Views form?

What is hidden when you check the "Hidden" box on the "UI View"s form? I'd like to manage the available views from the Table context menu.

It's there on Fuji instances.... If the question has been answered, can you close it off by marking the appropriate response?

Thanks for the update. The view will be hidden from selection from other roles except Admin role. Please find the more info in below details.

Just an FYI... I have "hidden" checked on "Mobile" view and non-admins can select it:
