What to use in closing all open tickets?

Hello All, 

 

Good day!

 

I would like to ask your suggestions/recommendations on what to use in closing all the open tickets which are more than 30days already.

 

1. Is it the client scripts? If it's client script, what type of function? Onload, onchange?

2. Should I have a scheduled job to check/run everyday if there are still open tickets more than 30days?

 

Any suggestions and recommendations?

You can use the Flow designer which is low code and if you want code, use schedule job.

 

Flow Designer

Trigger

Schdule

 

Action

Look up for records where incident open more tan 30 days

Logic

For each 

Action

Update record

State = close

Resolved note = xxx

Resolved code =yyy

Daily running scheduled job and

flow triggered through periodic schedule will be good for this use case
