when i am trying to export an Incident page to pdf, its converting it and a total of 30-40 pages are showing along with some unidentified incidents?how to resolve it

hi;

when i am exporting a incident to pdf its converting that incident to pdf with so many anonymous incidents listed with that incident.

please suggest me a solution

It is due to child incidents. This incident might have some child incidents, there could be some related list of incident to whom this is a parent incident.



To avoid the problem you need to remove the related list from incident form. I know that's not the good option, you can create a new view which will not have any related list and provide download functionality from that view,

this process is happening for each and every incident,in both dev and prod both instances.what is the solution

ServiceNow PDF export capabilities have those tricky nuances that just spam you with Related list information that you don't need.

We developed a software solution that allows you to choose what information you want to retrieve from a specific form and eventually related lists, and generate a DOCX, PPTX, or XLSX file with a template that fits your needs.

You can then do minor modifications if needed and save it as a PDF. Maybe it suits your needs.
