where emails can be sent from ServiceNow using customer email ids rather than ServiceNow's?

Has anyone configured this type of functionality in any environment where emails can be sent from ServiceNow using customer email ids rather than ServiceNow's?

I know we can change SMTP, but since we can have only 1 SMTP mail box active (which would be ServiceNow's), would like to check is is there any other way of showing different email id to the users in the incoming email  rather than of SN's.

Yes we can disable the ServiceNow SMTP server and configure it to use our email. Since it is more then likely that you cannot have an inbound pop3 server for in your environment to get the replies and process them. This is what we did. Our email admins configured it so that when reply was revived by our SMTP server it redirect a copy of the email to ServiceNow email address.
