Which role integration user must have to insert/update records in configuration item table.

Hi All,

Basically we are importing data into configuration item table through inbound integration. We have one staging table where data is coming and all the fields from the staging table are mapped with configuration item table. For this integration we have one user which have role like import_admin, import_scheduler, import_set_loader,import_transformer, itil, rest_service, rest_api_explorer ............... Even though having these roles insert/updates do not happens but it worked when I added added admin role .(PS: we should add admin role to anyone so what might be that missing role which is preventing us from insert/update cmdb_ci table)

Thanks,

Hi @Obito ,

For updating/creating records in CMDB cmdb_write or sn_cmdb_write role is required. u can check the write ACLs for CMDB table n provide those roles in case if any other role is granted as every instance will have diff configurations. Maybe first u can check with either of the above 2 roles.

Thanks,

Danish
