Why are group members not inheriting the role assigned to a group?

Hello,

I have a group for which I wish to grant the members the the ability to read, write and create contracts via the use of roles. Those roles already exist, however, when assigning those roles to the group, the group members are not inheriting those roles.

Please help!!

Pardon me Willem, a team member downloaded a plug-in that messes up (or enhances) all of this group vs role relationship. I very much appreciate your help.

can you tell, what was the plugin, which messed up the role inheritance? We are experiencing the same problem in DEV, but not on other instances.
