Why Catalog task is automatically created with request

I have created a catalog item. When the request is submitted, two catalog tasks are automatically created. Why did this happen? I didn't add any workflow to my catalogue item. How can I stop this? This issue starts today I never got this error before.

Hi @Beast , 
Please make sure that you have all the 3 below columns selected in the LIST MENU for the corresponding  Catalog Item / Record Producers: 

  • Execution Plan
  • Flow
  • Workflow 

Please note that when we create a Record Producer or Content Item, the field "Execution Plan" is populated with "DEFAULT" option as its default value and when the Record Producer gets converted to Catalog Item the same field is then used for executing the ticket flow.

Once we clear the "DEFAULT" option from "Execution Plan" field, the Catalog Tasks shall stop generating automatically.
