Why 'Comments' field is not visible on portal when I added activity log(formatter)

Hi All,
I have a requirement where I have added a comments field (Journal input) on the table. After that, I added the Activity Log (Formatter) to the table. However, after adding the activity log, the comments field is not visible.
Why is this happening? Any idea how can I add a comments field as well?

Hi,
If you've added another journal field to the table, this is not by default included in the activity stream in the portal.
The activity stream on the portal only shows changes in the OOB fields additional comments and work notes (if you have access to work notes).
Consider this, if you make some other changes on the ticket, such as setting a category, or changing priority, these changes will appear in the activity stream on the form (if you show them), but they will not appear in the activity stream on the portal, because this does not show ALL changes that happen.
If you have need to show these changes too, you will need to create a custom widget, that shows your custom journal field changes as well.
