Hello @Alon Grod
Description
Flow designer can´t trigger on table Request item (sc_req_item) and Catalog task (sc_task)
Procedure
- You need to activate different plugin for flow designer in Service catalog.
- Plugin name - Flow Designer support for the Service Catalog plugin (com.glideapp.servicecatalog.flow_designer)
- After the plugin is activated, in 'trigger' field you will have to select "Service catalog" and the 'table' field will disappear and you can create a flow designer in Service catalog.
Resolution
To activate this feature, a HI user with admin role can request the Flow Designer plugin through the HI Customer Service system with the following steps:
- In the Now Support (HI), go to Service Catalog > Activate Plugin.
- Fill in the form.
- Target Instance: Instance on which to activate the plugin.
- Plugin Name: Name of the plugin to activate.
- Specify the date and time you would like this plugin to be enabled: Please note that date and time must be at least 2 business days from the current time.
- Reason/Comments: Provide any information that would be helpful for the ServiceNow personnel activating the plugin. For example, if you need the plugin activated at a specific time instead of during one of the default activation timeframes.
- Click Submit.
The plugin is not available for Admin users to activate in London. Therefore, you have to contact ServiceNow Customer Support to help you activate this plugin.
However, this process has been changed now by us since Madrid. You are now able to activate the plugin as an admin user by yourself without using the HI Customer Service system.
Pls Mark my solution as Accept, if you find it helpful.
Regards,
Samaksh
