Why the Total CI Count in Cmdb_Ci and CMDB workspace is not matching

Hello Folks,
When Trying to look at the Total CI count in prod , i see a huge difference in CI count.
Total CI on Cmdb workspace and cmdb_ci table. Why is that so and is workspace is pointing to other than cmdb_ci tables.

Yes, please check the report conditions on WS , it may be differnt what you are having in table level.

cmdb_ci table reports 40% more CIs than the CMDB workspace for us.

In all my instances, they are the same.
Cloned "CMDB Workspace using UI Builder to see the settings. It seems the count in the workspace is based on CIs processed by IRE (Identification and Reconciliation Engine).
