Widget error messages

Hi

Has anyone any experience of the following error message:

SPWidget:SCSS portalId is null (id: XXXXXXXXXXXX portalId: null): no thrown error

source: com.glide.ui.ServletErrorListener

I can find which widget it is - simple list and form widgets.

The widgets themselves do not produce any obvious errors, but the errors above are found under System logs > Errors

Any help appreciated

This just worked for me. (in Quebec)

Resolve Error in LOGS - SPWidget: SCSS portalid is null

  1. Figure out which page and widget instance is logging the error
  2. Nav to Service Portal > Widgets
  3. Find and open that widget
  4. Scroll to bottom and go to Instances tab (if it is not there, add it via Related Links)
  5. Add in a Title for the Instance & Package in error (for me it was the widget-sc-cat-item-v2 missing its Title)
  6. Access the Page and Widget again via Portal
  7. Check Error Logs
  8. Eat Cake!
