Widget instance type must match content type Content publishing

Hi All,

 

I am trying to add Upcoming Events (CD) widget in one of my Sevice Portal Page(Global).

 

I have created record in portal content. Also record in content library, Added widget in page designer. 

 

But when I am trying to publish it, it doesnt show any widget instance, when I create a widget instance from there itself and trying to click on publish it gives error "Widget instance type must match content type Content publishing".

 

Where can i set the type of widget instance?

@Maroof Ali any luck on a solution to this? I've been trying this same concept with Rich Text Content Publishing. If you've found out anything, I'd love to know!

You need to include the widget in the respective content type(sn_cd_content_type). Post adding it you will start seeing  the widget instance getting displayed.
