Workflow - After rejection, need to rollback to created task

Hi, guys!

In a workflow, there's an approval activity and if it's rejected, the change request go back to previous state (work in progress, in this case). The problem is, when in work in progress state, two tasks are created, and after approval is rejected, those two tasks need to be fulfilled again. What's the best practice in this case, when we had to 'rollback' to a task previous created in a workflow? For example, is it correct to reopen those tasks? If not, what is the best way to achieve this rollback requirement?

Atul: Good as expected.

The problem is, when in work in progress state, two tasks are created, and after approval is rejected, those two tasks need to be fulfilled again.

What's the best practice in this case, when we had to 'rollback' to a task previous created in a workflow?

Atul: Unfortunate there is nothing called Rollback in Flow , in your case, what we can , clear the Assignment group or Dates and make then mandatory when moving change to Assess state again , in that case it will be fulfilled.

Atul: Yes, you can reopen task ( only type planning) or create a new task as replica for 1st one.
