Workflow Approval User activity not returning any result?

Hi All,

I'm facing an issue in Workflow Approval User activity. after Approving the Approval Request, Workflow Approval User activity is ot returning any result and not moving to the next activity. What could be the reason behind this? How to solve this?

If your organization hasn't messed with the Approval - User action then you may want to look at Business Rules and Scripts that are applied to the sysapproval_approver table that may be overriding the approval logic of the action. The other explanation is that your organization at some point has modified the approval - user action and it is not functions in line with the ootb configuration.
