Workflow stage tracker in Service Portal lists

We are in the process of converting our CMS to Service Portal, and one of the features we are loosing is the workflow stage tracker in our RITM status page.   We were able to bring this jelly module into our cms last year with some help from professional services.

Anyone have any idea how this functionality could be recreated using a service portal widget?

My understanding is that the logic for the   workflow stage tracke r module is not available to us to view as its a java component.   Im trying to get an estimate on what it might take to rebuild this as a widget.

A stage render is actually available in the "Requested Items" widget OOTB

I have taken the code from what widget and reused other places. Eg. to show the stage directly in the top menu

This widgets shows only in REQ records. Can we show in RITM record? Do you have an idea ?
