Hello All,
I have a quick question on the catalog items which I am supposed to create for workplace management teams.
Catalog items ( about 15 ) in question here are mostly used by workplace management teams and overall can be classified into 2 broad categories.
1. Data updates ( catalog items to do auto updates on relevant tables of WSD)
2. Generic Requests
All these catalog items in questions have some sort of approvals and auto tasks creation logic underneath it.
a) what would be the apt way of configuring these catalog items ?. Should this be treated as cases or RITMs ?
b) if these are to be treated as cases, should these be created as workplace service records for each of the catalog items ?
b.1) if workplace service record, what would be the fulfillment type ?.
b.2) if you think, service activity is an apt fulfillment type, then would I be able to create auto tasks based on the user responses on catalog item user options (variables) And also I have varying approvals , one at the start (standard) and one is added based on an attribute at a particular space which user wants data to be updated ?.
Please let me know your suggestions on these questions.

Hi,
You can use workplace case management.
There is OOTB flow for workplace case management, go through it and configure the service as per your need.

Can you tell me the name of the OOB flow for workplace case ?. Below is what I find after activating all plugins.
- what would be the trigger for each individual workplace catalog items ?
- Do we have to setup workplace services record for each of these record producers ?
There are limitations on using the fulfillment type as Service Activity and whereas if I need to use a subflow, I may have to have a condition to trigger the subflows from a main flow. The requirements for approvals and auto tasks varies across these requests...
