Hi all,
Some clarifications regarding the process:
Release scope
I got that release scope is made of Product and Product features, but I found to different views:
1. Release > Product Features
2. Release > Release Scope:
Which is the last version and which is the difference?
About the view #1: Product can be "ITSM" for example and Features can be "portal UI/UX", KB, incident management and so on?
A Product can be also a project managed with SPM, right?
Personas
I wonder if Release coordinator (or Program manager) does something concrete in the platform. Responsibilities are the following but I assume there's "no click" on the platform:
-Communicates dependencies across a release
-Approves the scope of a release
-Provides status updates to the Release team
Same for Release manager:
-Manages a Release calendar
-Establishes a Release process, including policy gates
Release start/end dates
How they are calculated? Are they related to phases dates?
I don't know why but I cannot see "start date" in Lab instance, there is a reason?
Many thanks in advance

Hi @Tommaso2 ,
Release > Release Scope now reflects the latest version.
In this updated version, it not only displays product features but also includes all product enhancements, epics, stories, defects, and more.
Regarding your question:
Can a product also be a project managed with SPM?
Yes, a project can consist of a single product or multiple products.
Personas:
-
Release Coordinator: This role is responsible for managing the release process, including starting the release, running policies, completing phases, adding tasks, etc.
-
Release Administrator: This is a higher-level role than the coordinator. The administrator can configure the release, such as creating, retargeting, or cancelling a release.
Release Start/End Dates:
The release start and end dates are automatically calculated based on the selected release target date.
Example:
If a release has three phases, each lasting one day, and the second phase is the "Release Readiness" phase, then the selected readiness date will be applied to Phase 2. The system will then calculate the start and end dates by considering the number and duration of phases before and after the readiness phase.
If my selected release target is 20-oct-2025 then the phase1/release start will be 19-oct-2025 and phase2 start date is 20-oct-2025 and phase3 start date 21-oct-2025.
