DPR Workspace – Restriction of "Primary Product or Service" to Application Models

Hello everyone, 

 

I have a question regarding the DPR Workspace, specifically the Create Release wizard in Tab 2 - Version Details.

I noticed that the "Primary Product or Service" field appears to be restricted to Application Models only.

Could you please explain why this restriction exists? Is there a specific design decision or dependency behind it?

 

Additionally, could you point me to where this behavior is configured? I'd like to understand whether it can be adjusted to allow other product or service model types as well.

The "Primary Product or Service" field is not restricted to Application Models only—it's configured to accept both Application Models and Service Models.

Thanks for the clarification. My requirement is actually broader than that. The field should not be limited to Application Models and Service Models only. I also need to be able to select other model classes, such as Software Models. Is there a way to configure the picker to include additional model classes?
