Dear ServiceNow and Co-Users of DPR,
What are the steps and best recommended ways to connect Onpremises hosted DevOps tools to DPR as DPR unable to recognize the URLs when tried connecting directly?
What is the MID server concept?

Hi @onedapaone, The ServiceNow® MID Server enables communication and the movement of data between a ServiceNow instance and external applications, data sources, and services. You can learn more about it from https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/xanadu-servicenow-platform/page/product/mid-server/concept/mid-se...

Midservers will allow you to connect to On-premise tools. First intsall a midserver in your local network, register it with servicenow. Then select it from the tool connection playbook and it should connect to your tool.

Hi @onedapaone
@Sai Teja1 can you help here.
As per my understanding it is not possible in current version of DPR.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.

Thank you @Balaji39 and @Joe Offenberg.
DRP_Release_Admin is not having the access to MID Server details by default. The drop-down selection of MID Server in "Connect A Tool" page is showing blank and needed to rely on ServiceNow Admin. Can you please see if this can be incorporated under Release_Admin role who is responsible to Connect the Tools.
Also, it would be great if you can clarify on below questions which we are trying to figure out currently:
1) What access need to provided for any "Release Admin" role user to be able to see MID Server selection access in DPR?
2) Even with ServiceNow Admin selecting the MID server, still our connection is failing with an error:
"Tool cannot be created because the tool URL is invalid. Enter a valid URL, and try again."
Information under Troubleshooting article is not helping.
3) Does Release Admin should also have a "Connection Admin" role to connect tools under DPR?
Are there any Articles or Videos available to connect DPR or DCV with On-premise DevOps tools? (Other than Cloud Azure DevOps example available in ServiceNow articles)
Thanks for your time and responses.
