Once ADO is integrated with DPR , then how will the enhancements/work items get tagged to each release when we create a new release?

The following is for JIRA it applies to the same for any planning tool(ADO..etc)

If your stories are associated a fix version a software model (Version) record will be created in Digital Product Release application.

This will happen only when you have enabled the checkbox for "Auto create product versions from plan versions"
Note -> Within JIRA Integration tool 'Fix versions' term is equivalent to 'Plan Version' in Servicenow Devops.
