Hi,
I started playing around wit the DPR product a bit. Currently I'm exploring the possibility to create approvals within Release Phases. The overall functionality looks really nice, but I'm wondering why I can only select Users or Groups from the App Product Model record and not from the Business Application itself. Technically it seems as there is no reference on the Model to the Business App.
I understand why there is no reference in this direction generally (as mostly there are many CIs connected to a single model and not vice versa), but for Business Apps, is it not more of a 1:1 relation?
I think it would provide more flexibility to be able to e.g. select IT Owner or Business owner, or other field of an App for specific approvals. I know we can synchronize any of those to be copied to the Product Owner on the Model record but that is always extra customization...
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

You can add a reference column, like Application Name, from Business Application table in Application Product model table and have a business rule to synch the data. This way if you can create one more sub product in Digital products for same Business Application you can use that reference column to establish One to many connections between Business App and model table.
Also, adding a reference column from Business App in App product model table will fetch you all the Business App fields in Approval definitions.
