Below you’ll find a number of instructional videos to help you understand some of the core Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) use cases. The videos were created by myself and my colleagues Ben Mills and Randy Scrapper. EAM Model Types: A review of the different model types found in EAM (consumable, simple, pre-assembled) and how the model type affects assets created from each. 

EAM Recall Workflow: The presenter guides the viewer through use of the Recall Workflow within EAM. The Recall process manages the identification of assets impacted by manufacturer or government recalls and different remedy actions that can be taken against those assets.

 

EAM Lease-End Workflow: The workflow provides an intuitive means for accessing lease contract details, history, and actions that can be taken as an asset lease nears expiration.

EAM Disposal Workflow: How to leverage the disposal workflow in EAM. The video identifies different ways to manage the end-of-life process for physical business assets depending on company policy and industry regulations.

EAM  RMA Workflow: How to use the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) workflow within EAM. This process manages assets and parts covered under warranty and service contracts that need to be repaired or replaced.
