Are asset auto associated with maintenance plans if added to the cmdb?

When creating a Maintenance Plan you can add the filters assets to the plan.

Can I assume that if other assets are added to the platform that they are auto added (nightly) to the associated records for the plan?

OR do you have to go through routinely to associated new assets?

Hi @davo,

 filter-based Maintenance Plans are designed to automatically include assets that match the defined criteria, while manually associated assets are not automatically added.

Filter-based plan  → New matching assets are included automatically
Manual association → New assets must be added manually

  newly created matching assets were not added to existing Maintenance Plans until the plan was refreshed or updated.

So the expected OOTB behavior is automatic inclusion for filter-based plans, but it is worth validating in your instance due to the known issue.
