AI Search: Unable to Find Incidents by Partial Number

Hello,

I'm encountering an issue with AI Search on our ServiceNow portal. When I search for a full incident number like INC0013099, the correct record is returned. However, if I enter only a portion of the number, such as 0013099 or even just 0013, no results are found.

Our goal is to enhance the search functionality so that users can retrieve incidents even when they input partial numbers. For instance, entering 0013 should return all incidents whose numbers start with that sequence.

Has anyone faced a similar challenge or found a way to configure AI Search to support partial number searches? Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

As per below KB, that is expected behavior. From Yokohama release at-least we would get some partial search working but not all. Kind of a limitation
