Hi,
One of a way our own created dashboard in platform analytics area, doesnt want to show up when the same person goes to hr agent workspace dashboards section (/now/hr/agent/dashboards). Only the OOTB platform analytics admin dashboards are visible. Is there a setting or so that you can make it visible overthere?
Solved! Go to Solution.

Hi, i have the reasons and solution to the issue. By default when you create a dashboard, the visibility is not set to HR Agent Workspace. So that's why it will never showup on the workspace. How to fix it? Just go to your dashboard, click on the ! icon and adjust the visibility option.

Hi @Alexander17 ,
The following procedure describes how to add an Analytics Center page to your experience or workspace instead of creating a new workspace with App Engine Studio.
This procedure applies to other Platform Analytics pages that you might want to add. These pages are required for full Analytics Center functionality, but also can be added independently. The details about those pages are provided at the end of this topic.
Role required: ui_builder_admin
Procedure
- Open your configurable workspace in the UI Builder.
- Select the plus sign next to Pages and variants and select Create a new page.
3. On the Select a Page Template dialog, expand View legacy templates.
4. Hold your cursor over the Analytics Center template and select Use template.
- Specify a name and a path for the page.
- Select Use the original page (customization limited).
Warning: The Copy contents of the page option does not give you a fully functional Analytics Center. For events to dispatch correctly, you must have the client scripts that are included only when you use the original page.
- Click Create.
You return to the list of pages for your workspace, which now includes the new Analytics Center.
- In the entry for the Analytics Center page (not a variant of the page), open Settings.
The General settings dialog opens.
- Under Page parameters, add the following optional parameters:
- tab
- filter
These parameters ensure that on page refresh, the last open tab of the Analytics Center opens. Also, the last selected filter (such as Bookmarked) is enabled.
Result
You now have a page with a fully configured Analytics Center, including all components. However, none of the links to other pages work until those pages are added and configured.
What to do next
Create pages using the following templates. Follow the same process you used to create the Analytics Center page, including using the original page instead of copying the content. Give the pages the following paths and parameters:
- KPI Details, Simple List, and Dashboard overview are legacy page templates, like Analytics Center. You must specify the parameters manually for these pages. Newer page templates give you the parameters in the course of page creation.
- Platform Analytics is modular. You can create only some of the pages and get their standalone functions. For example, if you only want dashboard support or KPI Details, create the pages with that functionality and don't create an Analytics Center.
Template name | Function | Required parameters | Optional parameters | Path |
---|---|---|---|---|
KPI Details |
Displays the details of a single indicator | uuid | scoreDate, breakdowns, domain, aggregate | ac_kpi_details |
Simple List | Displays a list of table records | table | listTitle, query, disableInlineEditing, listView | simplelist |
Standard record | Displays the details of a table record | table, sysId | query, extraParams, views, selectedTabIndex | record |
Dashboard overview | Displays all dashboard tiles | none | none | all-dashboards |
Dashboards | Used to create, edit, and show dashboards along with data visualizations inside those dashboards. This page template is the minimum requirement for dashboard support. | none | edit, sysId, tabSysId, filter, element | dashboards |
Visualization designer | Used to create and edit data visualizations independently of dashboards, without using the Dashboards editor. | sysid | none | visualization-designer |

Hi, im not looking how to create a new analytics dashboard nor how to add the dashboards icon (please dont confuse with analytics center icon. ) on the hr agent workspace. Im looking how i can make my already build dashboard that is in analytics center, to be available/visible in the dashboards section of hr agent workspace. Only the OOTB dashboards that servicenow build in analytics center, is visible in the dashboards section.
Please to make it clearer, upgrade your hr agent workspace to the latest plugin. than change top url to https://yourenvironment.service-now.com/now/hr/agent/dashboards
this is the new dashboards section in hr agent workspace where platform analytics reports can be visible.
