Hello, need support, please.

Got an issue with the widget?

See below, I was able to modify the button label (in widget todo-approval-actions) for the source ticket from table kb_knowledge, but Im not able to figure out where to make a change (to which widget) to change the button label for the second screen where ticket comes from sc_req_item table.

Please advise.

Found it and also found to solve another problem.

Problem I wanted to figure out was

  • rejecting sc_req_item in employee center always add reject comments to sc_req_item ticket and not sysapproval_approver record.

End result, RITM tickets is rejected, commented, but approval record is not commented with reject comments from pop up.

This can be solved by changing script below:

Table: sn_ex_sp_action_type

Button value can be modified in table sn_ex_sp_action

Took me several hours to figure this out, enjoy this!

Hi @Petr Pastuszek1 -  Good work on the above item.

Also, Did you observed while working on My tasks, why users with only backend view of ritm record is able to see the details in My Tasks.
For eg: If user is having admin role/has role where he can see the ritm record at the backend was only able to see the details on the Approval in MyTasks.
As we have several users who doesn't have admin roles except approver_user/snc_internal. In this case they cannot see the fields information in My task approval. This seems to be canread issue.

This seems to be a license topic.

user need to have approver_user role to be able see content in this widget.

There are ACLs, Script Include, Widget which controls this role.

I believe that 95% of your end users - approvers (not having that role) need to use email to approve/reject.

From user experience, this is really bad as we try to convince all users to use employee center, they cannot approve/reject there ...

@Petr Pastuszek1 - Yes, I feel the same. Until the user is not having approver_user role they are not able to see the Approvals in My Tasks.
Also only users having ITIL role are seeing the details(fields/variables) in the approval. What should if the users doesn't have ITIL role. Have you came across this in your portal ?
Below screenshot shows view of approval if user has ITIL role.

And if there is no ITIL role assigned
