in servicenow when a case is created why it creates a duplicate case

Hi Raghu,

 

Not sure, what exactly you mean.

Maybe you can check some business rules or flows which have been configured wrongly to perform this kind of action. OOTB, this doesn't happen.

this doesn't happen Out of the box.

Did you check this?

1) any business rule on case table has current.insert()

2) does it happen always or intermittenly

3) is this happening for admins or non-admins
