Changing who shows up in Team Members on Manager Hub in Employee Center

I've just installed Manager Hub, and I'm wondering how I can either edit who shows up on the Team Members list, or how I can set it up so a filter is automatically applied when a user goes to Direct Team. The issue I'm running into is that we have a number of people who have active User records, but who are no longer employees, who are showing up on this list. I don't want my managers to have to apply filters to remove these people each time the manager goes onto Manager Hub. How can I remove them from view?

@Community Alums these seem to be instructions for adding columns and Quick Actions. What I  need to do is change who shows up in the list in the first place, not change what details display for each person.

Were you ever able to figure this out? Specifically hiding records in the Team Members section? We store IT service accounts/admin accounts in our instance and have them mapped to the users that manage them as "Managers". Unfortunately, this means they show up in Manager Hub and we're looking to see how we can stop that.

Unfortunately, no. We decided not to use that piece because we can't get it to display how we need.
