Hello everyone,
I recently removed the Content Experience widget (OOTB) from the ec_pro_dashboard page and placed the Content Experience widget clone on the ec_pro_dashboard, however, when I go to create a content (banner) in "Widget instance" the content experience widget does not appear to select. Why is this?

Best regards,

Hi @RforNewbie
Please look at Content Publishing > Advanced > Content Types. You can associate your new widget here.
Beware, this kind of customization means you will lose on future enhancements. We have upcoming revamp on Content Experience widget.

You will need to add your cloned widget to the type. The type is on the content record. When you select Banner you can step into that record and see the widgets that will work with the banner content type. I’m away from my computer so I don’t have any screenshots. However, I am fairly confident this is what you need. If that doesn’t work, something might be wrong with your widget.

@RforNewbie Pooja gave a better description of what I was communicating.
