Hello @Prudhvi Raj Y
Add widgets via Page Designer
You can open the page (e.g., emp_taxonomy_topic) in Service Portal > Configuration > Designer and drag additional widgets into the layout.
These can be OOTB widget types (like Quick Links, Rich Content, Catalog widgets, etc.) or your own cloned/custom widget.
This adds the widget visually to the page.
However, this applies to all topic pages using that template — not specific ones.
Use templates for specific topicsIf you want:
Different widgets to show only on certain topics (not every topic), the recommended pattern is:
This effectively gives you per‑topic widgets without affecting others using the base template.
Clone the existing emp_taxonomy_topic page to make a new page template
Add your custom widget to that new page in Designer
Update the topic records to use the new page template where you want those widgets shownExample: Custom News widget only on HR topic pages
Don’t affect IT / Workplace topics that use the default emp_taxonomy_topic
