This business rule ensures the HR profile being inserted does not exist yet by checking:
(current.user.first_name, current.user.last_name, current.personal_email)
This is an OOB Business Rule and I am curious if it is common to edit this BR. There are cases when:
- The same employee comes back to the organisation
- Have another role
I personally just find it weird to have an OOB business rule that defines a record as unique by simply checking:
- First name
- Last name
- Personal email address
Thanks.

@Arlene H did you ever find an answer on this? Going through something similar to you right now.

Yes I did. I disabled this business rule and created our own. Did other things based on our business process and policies. But to answer your question, you can disable this business rule and create a new one that tailors your organisation's policy.
