Hi All,

I cannot seem to figure out how to get these types of banners on my portal homepage and how to configure them. Are these OOB or are they created elsewhere (content library?).

Hi,

Yes, the banners you’re seeing in Employee Center are OOB. They are typically driven by  Content Library  records and displayed on the homepage through Carousel widget mostly.

If you want the same type of banner in your portal, open the homepage (for example, esc_home) under Service Portal → Pages and check which widget is placed in the top container. That widget is responsible for rendering the banners.

To replicate it, either:

  • Create new Banner-type Portal Content records in Content Library and ensure the  widget is configured to pull from them, or

  • Add a Hero/Carousel widget to your homepage layout and configure its data source to point to your banner content.
