Hi,

i'm starting to freak out... please help this poor guy that is working on bank holiday to build a demo and nothing seems to work....

I see this taxonomy:

This taxonomy i related to ESC portal

then WHY the portal only shows 1 "dropdown" menu?? IT...which doesn't even show topic that i see under IT Taxonomy...

i tried to clone taxonomy, i did my change, i have related the new taxonomy to ESC Portal (removing the old one, 1 step at the time). And guess what: NOTHING HAPPENED.

Please support this poor guy trying to achieve a simple task: create 4-5 dropdown menus on ESC with multiple content related to each menu. For example: Hardware --> option 1, option 2, option 3, option 4, option 5

Thank you in advance

Hi there,

Agree with the other comments, you need actual Connected Content, else the Topic won't show up. Though also good to know...

When refreshing your browser, you might not see immediately recent changes to Topics... logout + login on your instance.

Kind regards,
Mark

Hi,

Your IT Topic is showing on your Menu which means Taxonomy should be connected correctly. One reason to why your other Topic "Risk & compliance" is not showing could be that no content is connected to the Topic, or the user who you are logged in with isn't entitled to see any content on Risk and Compliance Topic.

Hi, user criteria is not the problem here.

IT Taxonomy contains at least 5 suboptions which are not showned on the ESC Portal

I would echo @Aditi Priya's insight in that the topics must have connected content before they are visible the mega menu. Make sure catalog items, knowledge articles and/or quick links are tagged to your topics in the taxonomy.
