Hi,
I wanted to hide IT and Risk & Compliance from the Employee Center Portal. I have deactivated "Risk & Compliance" and IT from the Taxonomy but it is still showing up on the portal.
I have deleted the IT Topics from the instance to check if that helps but still it is showing up on the portal. I am not sure from where this is coming up. I am using OOTB page and widgets.
Taxonomy:
Menu Items:
ESC Portal:
I am not sure from where this is coming even after 1st deactivating and then deleting it.
Please let me know how to deactivate "IT" from the header option. We are in Tokyo version.

Hi there,
Since you mention you did deactivate them and even deleted the topics, have you made sure this is not a cashing issue? Cashing is a known thing when working with taxonomy on Employee Center.
Logout, login or Close your browser completely, open again.
Kind regards,
Mark

@Hari7 As mentioned above this is like a caching issue.
Deactivating a topic in the taxonomy is controlled by the Active flag.
When you uncheck, simply relog to the instance as yourself and load the EC fresh and it should update.
Another tip( I use this a lot) impersonating another user is also a cache clearing method, so can be a quicker way to validate 😉
