How to add background color to the esc portal taxonomy/topic?

I have added a new topic, and to that topic, I have included a few catalog items. This is working fine. However, I need to add a background color/image to the topic, similar to what is shown in the images below. How can I achieve this?

Hi,

1.Navigate to Content Taxonomy -> Topics

2.Open the topic and upload banner image

3. Go to the portal and press Ctrl+right click on the widget ->  Instance options

4.  Update these fields for background color/image
