How to hide child topics in employee center mega menu

Hi,

I would like to hide the topics on the 3rd level of the Employee Center mega menu.
For example, in the attached image, I want to display up to Hardware, Software, Network which are child topics of IT but not Computers and any other below Computers.

Hello,

In short, content visibility controls what someone can and cannot see in the mega menu. Topics are visible when the logged in user has access to the content that lives within the topics. You will need to add Criteria to the Content that lives inside the Printers subtopic. Adding criteria to the Can Read/Cannot Read of Articles, or Available for/Not Available for of Catalog Items/Record Producers will lock those pieces of content down and then remove them from view to users who do not pass the criteria you set.

If Parent topic IT

- contains Subtopic: Hardware

- and Hardware contains subtopics:

- Computers

- Printers

Then look at the content inside each of these topics. If they all contain only 6 articles that the logged in user can read, then the mega menu will display all of these topics. But if you only share the same 6 articles with the IT, Hardware, and Computer topics, then Printers will not appear. Good luck!

Thank you very much for your guidance.

My explanation was lacking.

I want it to be invisible only in the mega menu.
I think that if it is controlled by User criteria or Available for/Not Available for, it will disappear from anywhere in Empoloyee Center.

Click Hardware in the mega menu to jump to the page below. On this page, I would like to see all child topics for hardware, including printers.

Any feedback would be appreciated.
