How to remove action button on Incidents

How can I completely remove the action button on IT Incidents? It should only be removed on the front end view of the case. We don't want users to be able to take actions on the case they submitted for the time being.

@cwillard This might be why your Caller name is being cut short. I just responded on your other thread, and then saw this one afterwards 🙂 

 

It's possibly the Actions button is forming part of the css structure of the widget, so removing it is having some impacts on the fields. 

 

Be worth checking if you add back in the action button, does your caller field render in full. 

Hey Dan - I added it back and had the same issue. - Weirdly, in my PDI the names are also cut off. Do you think this mean I might need to submit a ticket directly to ServiceNow about this issue? 

Yeah I would suggest raising a HI case for this. If confirmed as a bug it will make its way to the Product team to arrange a fix for one of the upcoming releases 🙂 

 

Looks like an issue with how the widget resizes itself when the action button is removed

You can also remove it via ticket configuration action widget. If there is anyone else doing this 🙂
