How to remove or inactive 'People' search in Employee center

Please can anyone help me in disabling  or inactiving 'People' search in Employee center. AI search is enabled in this portal.

Sorry for delayed reply.

The solution you provided did make the "People" tab invisible but other employee's still do show up in the search result as shown in the screenshot below. The requirement is also to not show Other employees (users) in the search results anymore. Please can you guide me on how to achieve this too.

Hey Zohaib,

No worries my friend -

So for this we will need to go to the Search Profiles and unlink the Search Source.

Click on the profile you are using, I think you are using the same as me, but it will look like this:

Use the Search Source tab under Configuration. Select the checkbox next to ESC Portal People (if you are using the same as me).

When checked, Click Unlink Selected (don't worry, we can always easily bring these back if needed).

Now, your profile, with this change, will need to be published again. Making a change to the profile always brings it back to draft. Go ahead and publish it and check your portal (refresh the URL).

I followed the same steps to inactivate the people option from AI Search for nowmobile but its not disappearing the people option. attached screen for your reference.

Hey Imam,

Once you made your change, did you publish the record again?

When you make a change to Search Profile, it goes back into draft, and you have to publish the changes. What is the state of yours? I just want to rule that out first.
