How to update system timezone in profile of ESC portal timezone .

In the profile of ESC portal, I want to update system time-zone instead of user time zone.

Kindly help!

Hello,

This is not possible as System timezone is stored in properties table rather than user record. Even if you find a way to do this you should not do this as this should not be allowed to do from portal end.

Is it possible to update a timezone in ESC profile with outlook timezone.

There's a couple of way that you can set the system timezone.

Navigate to System Properties > Basic Configuration U16.

Or, navigate to All > System Properties > System.

Locate the property System timezone for all users unless overridden in the user's record [glide.sys.default.tz].

By default, the field is blank. If you have not defined a time zone for this property, America/Los Angeles is the default.

Or just change directly in the System Property table.

The System timezone is the standard setting for ALL users of your ServiceNow instance.
This is one single setting, that an admin sets, usually to reflect the timezone of  most users. or of your organisation's HQ.
Each user can set their own timezone (in the portal).
