Is there a way to show the icon of catalog items on the taxonomy page?

My boss requested icons, and I know there is a field for icons but they aren't visible on the employee center pages.  Anyone done this before?

Hey Tim,

I did Icons and Banners for all our topic pages within the employee center.

Ex: On the Benefits & Well-being topic form I have the following:

find_real_file.png

Now from the main browse part that comes with the mega menu:

find_real_file.png

I come to the parent topic, and see all the sub-topics:

find_real_file.png

Once I go into the Benefits topic page, I will then also see the banner I gave it:

find_real_file.png

However, IF, you do not have anything connected to that topic page, then you will not see the ICON on the employee center, through the taxonomy. I deactivated our two sup-topics from the Benefits topic page, and the ICON goes away from the Parent Topic Page since nothing is connected to it. It then has nothing to show. You can see it is missing from both Mega Menu and Parent Topic page as a sub-topic:

I hope this helps you out. For you, if you have not done so yet. I would connect something to your sup-topic page as I have shown you, and see if you then see the icons you have given it.

Cheers,

-Rob

Hi @timborquez

On the portal, move your mouse over to the top banner (widget).

Click "Ctrl"+ right (mouse) click

Click on "Instance Options"

Define settings as you wish - in your case "Icon".

And save.
